Munit.io is a pioneer in dark web investigation technologies and the first European company that introduced a dark web solution for LEAs and Governments. It was set up in 2016 by MarketScape and a group of partners as a successful spinout from MarketScape A/S.
Started as a government-only dark web monitoring system, our core product SAGA® evolved into a comprehensive Digital Risk Protection (DRP) platform for commercial clients.
Up until 2021 SAGA/DRP has been sold for commercial (non-government) clients via MarketScape. Providing SAGA service for 20 countries on 3 continents and with close to 100 partnerships, we have chosen to streamline our activities. From now on SAGA and our DRP tools line are marketed under the Munit.io company brand. In the meantime, MarketScape keeps its focus mainly on Competitive and Market Intelligence Software (MSv5).
Mr. Hans Ulrik Staehr (co-founder MarketScape and Munit.io) is stepping in as CEO for Munitio and Mr. Peter Poulsen (co-founder MarketScape and Munit.io) joins as CTO.
